With Mr. Moore's guidance, the team not only grew and prospered socially and personally, but also functioned so well that they won the Turkey Bowl in the 1999 season. Mr. Moore says that the team's success was pinned on their ability to communicate, as well as their commitment to excellence.

Mr. Moore can't emphasize enough the importance of being a strong and positive role model for the community’s youth, and goes a step further to say that it is one of your responsibilities as an adult, to acknowledge that your behavior is likely to be reflected and mimicked by the children of the neighborhood. That is why Mr. Moore spent many years as a mentor in the Boy Scouts program for Walnut Creek, as well as time spent being a swim team coach, showing his own personal dedication to his belief. Mr. Moore says that being a positive role model has been his pleasure, and he learns as much as he teaches.
